Job Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Client Services, the Project Manager helps manage a portfolio of strategic continuous improvement projects as well as large, complex Partner projects. This position is responsible for all aspects of each project including assisting in project charter and governance approach; building and managing the schedule; task assignment and resource forecasting; assigning and helping coordinate due dates; meeting coordination, notes and actions.
This role will interface with all other teams throughout the project lifecycle(s) and will ensure the teams are coordinating with all other departments to ensure effective planning and execution.
This is a hybrid position located in Rochester, NY.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate Program Meetings with team members, subject matter experts, managers, and stakeholders. Prepare meeting materials and coordinate meeting prep with appropriate team members. Publish meeting minutes and action items after all meetings.
- Assists in defining project scope, objectives and timelines, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure overall project success.
- Manage project schedule and task deadlines with owner and managers and follow up on late items. Ensure critical path items are on track and manage closely with each project owner or sponsor.
- Coordinate project tasks and activities across internal teams and other resources (as needed)
- Develops a detailed project plan to monitor and track project deliverables and progress.
- Track and manage action items and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensures resource availability and allocations.
- Gathers data as project work is executed and creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
- Reports and escalates project roadblocks to management as needed
- Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Identify risks and maintain risk register. Coordinate with Managers, Project owner or Sponsor on risk mitigation plan
- Provide project updates and feedback to team members via regular communication updates (defined in program Communication Plan).
- Maintains Project (Program) documentation in Confluence and ensures proper record keeping of project interactions.
- Offers recommendations for process improvements based on teams’ feedback and lessons learned.
- Assists with special projects as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3-5 years of Project Management experience
- PMP preferred

COMPENSATION
70-80k annually
