Coho Technology Solutions is seeking a Project Manager with IT/Telecommunications and experience with DOD projects for project start up through project closeout. Special enhanced skills for project scheduling and logistics and DOD deliverables and documentation are required. The Project Manager will be the SME for project management activities and will be responsible for assisting Program Managers and Project Managers with project management techniques, scheduling, logistics, reporting and managing the IT/Telecommunications infrastructure projects with DOD customers.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Serve as single point of contact for customer. Establish on-site offices and material handling facilities.

Author and write documents, process diagrams, SOPs, Change Proposals, Project Status Review reports, etc.

Manage and direct site survey teams, installation teams and testing teams. Manage and account for inventories of Inside Plant (ISP), Outside Plant (OSP) and other installation required materials (IRM).

Manage other on-site personnel.

Maintain Project Schedule. Monitor and participate in quality and performance activities.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Two-year technical degree or BS/BA degree preferred.
- PMP Certification.
- Required Knowledge/Experience:
- 8+ years of IT and Telecommunications Management Experience.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Project Management in a DoD environment.

Project Management skills including scope management, capacity planning, project scheduling, budgeting and tracking documents is required.

Strong financial acumen, proven ability to connect the linkages of the project results to the budget and identify risks.

Presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels of customer management.

Persuasive, collaborative business acumen.

Knowledge of wireless technology.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong time management, coordination and organizational skills.
- Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
- PMI PMBOK
- Experience with IT and Telecommunications project execution for at least one of the military entities: USMC, US Army, US Air Force, US Navy
- Prefer the candidate have a varied background in IT/Telecommunications systems but need at a minimum of 3 years’ experience in at least 2 of the following disciplines:
- OSP (outside plant cable infrastructure and support structures)
- ISP (inside plant hardware, equipment and cabling infrastructure)
- Facilities (Power, HVAC, shelter construction)
- Transport (UC/VoIP and Data transport across IT networks)
- Data Systems (such as Cisco, Juniper and Extreme OEMs)
- Voice Systems (such as Cisco Ribbon and Avaya)
- Wireless systems (Aruba and Cisco)
