Job Description
The Project Manager role is to lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may be clearly defined or require dynamic change management to deliver business value. Project managers must have experience leading projects in a IT environment with preference give to Supplier with Colleague experience.
Supplier shall provide a professional for their recommended project managers or at minimum the process they will undergo to find candidates to present to the College. The College has the right to approve the project manager assigned or request a new project manager through the length of the contract. Supplier shall provide examples of any experience working with the anticipated projects listed in the provided scope.
Supplier shall provide examples of successful projects that were managed by the Supplier. Examples shall include the timeline and budget for said project.
The Project Manager role involves leading, overseeing, and ensuring the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects within defined constraints. This may involve dynamic change management to deliver business value, particularly in an IT environment. The preference is for Suppliers with experience working with colleagues. The client reserves the right to approve or request a new project manager throughout the contract. The Supplier must also provide examples of experience working on anticipated projects, along with successful project timelines and budgets.
Detailed Duties:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
- Change Management: Implement dynamic change management processes as required to deliver business value and adapt to evolving project needs.
- IT Environment Expertise: Utilize experience in IT environments to effectively manage projects, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of such projects.
- Colleague Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, leveraging interpersonal skills and teamwork to drive project success.
- Approval Process: Respect the client's right to approve or request a new project manager at any point during the contract term.
- Experience Demonstration: Provide examples of past experience working on projects outlined in the scope, demonstrating competence and relevance to the client's needs.
- Project Success Showcase: Present examples of successful projects managed by the Supplier, including detailed timelines and budgets, showcasing the ability to deliver results effectively and efficiently.
Projects include:
- Transitioning Colleague from an On-Premise SQL to PostgreSQL SaaS environment to be hosted by Ellucian in AWS.
- In support of this project additional interim staffing or various functional roles within DevOps will be needed.
- INFOSILEM software implementation.
- Lifelong Learning Extended Education (Formerly Destiney One) software implementation for the Economic and Workforce Development Department.
- eLumens software implementation
