Stryker is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Global Quality & Operations PMO and lead strategic initiatives that drive scalable, predictable, and efficient growth across the organization.
This role will manage a pipeline of Cost Reduction projects, including sterilization optimization, production capacity and throughput improvements, process automation, data and systems initiatives, and scrap reduction programs. The ideal candidate is a strong cross-functional leader who can influence without authority, navigate complexity, and consistently deliver business results.
What You Will Do:- Lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and manage project charters, scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, quality plans, stakeholder strategies, communication plans, and project governance.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, critical path analysis, major workstreams, and key milestones.
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, manage scope, evaluate tradeoffs, and drive decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, secure, and coordinate cross-functional resources while providing performance feedback to functional managers as appropriate.
- Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support procurement activities and collaborate in the selection and management of external partners and suppliers.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate project status, key decisions, risks, and changes to leadership and project teams.
- Incorporate customer and end-user feedback to improve project outcomes and maximize business value.
- Lead strategic initiatives focused on cost reduction, operational excellence, process optimization, automation, capacity improvements, and productivity gains.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality systems and standards.
- Perform additional project leadership responsibilities as needed.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4+ years of experience in project management, engineering, operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, or a related field.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
- Experience leading cost reduction, manufacturing optimization, operational excellence, or process improvement initiatives.
- Experience within the medical device industry or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional strategic programs

US15: $95,800 - $159,600 USD Annual
