About the Job
We are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Operations Project Manager to join our LATAM PMO team. In this role, you will own and lead end-to-end operational projects and programs across multiple countries, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful implementation, process improvements, and business transformation initiatives.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and delivering complex projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations. You will play a critical role in identifying risks, solving roadblocks, driving change management activities, and ensuring projects are successfully transitioned into business-as-usual operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, governance structures, and communication plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional and multicultural teams across multiple LATAM markets.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment on priorities, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues.
- Monitor project performance and communicate progress to senior leadership.
- Drive change management initiatives to support successful adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Manage project documentation, status reporting, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support operational excellence through process optimization and best practice implementation.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects in dynamic and fast-paced environments. You are an effective communicator, a proactive problem solver, and a natural leader who can influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.
You thrive in ambiguity, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously and are passionate about driving operational improvements and business results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Advanced English and Spanish communication skills; Portuguese is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience leading complex initiatives.
- PMP Certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI, Agile, Scrum, and/or PDCA.
- Experience managing projects across multiple countries and working with multicultural teams.
- Proven experience in risk management, stakeholder management, change management, and process improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and project planning tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet.
