Assignment Details:
- Position: Project Manager / Maintenance Coordinator
- Duration: Estimated 3-6 months, possible permanent
- Pay Rate: $37.00/hour
- Start Date: Anticipated after September 26, 2026
- Location: Automotive Manufacturing Environment
- Training: Will be provided on-site by the current coordinator following candidate selection and offer acceptance
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to support maintenance operations and project coordination activities within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for managing work orders, coordinating maintenance activities, overseeing contractor and vendor programs, and supporting maintenance projects through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull, review, prioritize, and track maintenance work orders
- Coordinate maintenance and facility-related projects
- Oversee contractor and vendor management programs
- Monitor project progress and vendor performance
- Utilize Corrigo and Maximo systems to manage maintenance activities
- Support preventive maintenance planning and scheduling
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and facility teams
- Maintain project documentation and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and operational standards
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance coordination, project management, facilities management, or a related field
- Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience coordinating contractors and vendors
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Maximo CMMS (preferred)
- Experience with Corrigo
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Maintenance planning and scheduling experience

Education and/or Experience Bachelor degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or more than 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of maintenance, Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Temporary contract position 3 -6 months.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school
- More than 5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, professional, technical, and regulatory materials
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule instructions
- Knowledge of maintenance, Internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software
