Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of ABICON's scope of work (piping, civil, and mechanical construction) on assigned EPC projects, ensuring delivery within approved budget, schedule, quality, and HSE requirements while managing client and stakeholder relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead overall project execution for ABICON's scope, from mobilization through close-out.
- Develop and manage the project execution plan, budget, and master schedule.
- Coordinate with client, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Oversee Construction, QC, Planning, Procurement, and HSE functions within the project.
- Chair project progress meetings and report project status to senior management and the client.
- Manage project risks, changes, and claims in coordination with the commercial/contracts team.
- Approve project manpower, equipment, and material mobilization plans.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and applicable codes/standards.
- Drive cost control and schedule adherence through the project controls team.
- Ensure HSE standards and quality requirements are enforced across all site activities.
- Support tendering and proposal input for future projects as required.
- Manage project close-out, handover, and lessons-learned documentation.
Requirements
Experience: 15+ years of experience in EPC/construction project execution, including at least 5 years in a project management role on industrial or oil & gas projects
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
