We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager (2-Year Contract) to lead the delivery of development projects across ESR's ventures. You will oversee projects from planning through construction, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end construction process, provide strong leadership and sound decision-making to resolve project challenges, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement by elevating ESR's design specifications, construction quality, and project delivery standards across the portfolio.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring developments are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to ESR's quality and design standards.
- Support the sourcing, evaluation, and management of consultants and contractors, ensuring compliance with ESR's procurement, branding, and design requirements.
- Assist in transaction due diligence by providing technical assessments and supporting investment and project closure activities.
- Oversee construction activities, coordinating consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor project costs, manage construction budgets, and administer consultant and contractor payments.
- Lead site meetings and coordinate construction, procurement, logistics, and project stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide technical advice on design, engineering, value engineering, sustainability, and construction best practices.
- Coordinate project insurance, statutory approvals, regulatory compliance, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Prepare project updates, construction reports, safety reports, and management reports to support effective project governance.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, drawings, approvals, warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, and as-built records.
- Coordinate defect management, project close-out, leasing fit-out requirements, and the seamless handover of completed developments to the Asset Management team.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support ESR's development portfolio.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project) and AutoCAD.
- Technical knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines, including Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, or Quantity Surveying.
- Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Sound understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, procurement, budgeting, and cost control.
- Good knowledge of building regulations, health and safety requirements, and industry best practices.
