The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the execution of high-impact strategic projects across the Sales & Distribution function. The role will ensure that strategic initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve the intended business outcomes.WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Driving the end-to-end delivery of strategic Sales & Distribution initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Establishing robust project governance, tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and benefits realisation.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams, including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and external partners, to ensure seamless execution.
- Providing programme management support to the Sales & Distribution leadership team, including project reporting, steering committee updates, and executive dashboards.
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer service, route-to-market effectiveness, and commercial performance through project delivery.
- Leading change management activities to support successful implementation and adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Monitoring project outcomes, measuring business benefits, and embedding continuous improvement practices across the function.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Bachelor's degree: Business Management, Commerce, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- A recognised Project Management qualification or certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) will be advantageous.
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA or Honours) will be an added advantage
- At least 5 years project management experience preferably within FMCG
