Ready to lead projects that shape the future of manufacturing? Join Hitachi Energy as a Project Manager where you will drive impactful initiatives across one or multiple manufacturing facilities. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with local and global teams to deliver projects that support operational excellence, business growth, and continuous improvement.

From capital investments and facility expansions to product introductions, technology transfers, and product relocations, you will play a key role in bringing complex projects to life. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional experts, build strong stakeholder relationships, and lead projects from concept through execution while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and operational objectives.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead and execute manufacturing projects across one or multiple facilities.

  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.

  • Manage capital projects, product transfers, technology implementations, and new product introductions.

  • Monitor project performance and provide updates to Hub leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Build strong relationships across global and local cross-functional teams.

  • Identify risks, resolve issues, and drive timely project decisions.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards.

  • Coach and support project team members to achieve project goals and successful outcomes.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Operations, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, or a related discipline.

  • Experience managing capital, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure-related projects.

  • Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, execution, and performance management.

  • Experience working within Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) systems, manufacturing frameworks, or similar operational excellence programs is highly preferred.

  • Project Management certification or advanced project management training is considered a strong asset.

  • Ability to influence and coordinate resources across teams without direct reporting authority, supported by excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Candidate must already have authorization to work in the United States that would permit employment with Hitachi Energy.
