Alongside is looking for a Project Manager with a genuine interest in AI, technology and innovation to join our team in Tomar.
This is a hands-on and highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys working with people, communicating ideas and turning conversations into action. You'll coordinate technology and innovation initiatives, working across technical teams, clients, partners and other stakeholders to keep projects moving from idea to execution.
You don't need to be an AI expert, but you should be genuinely curious about how AI is evolving and how it can be applied to solve real business problems. Strong communication is key: we're looking for someone who feels comfortable leading meetings, engaging with companies, facilitating workshops or presenting ideas to different audiences.
Responsibilities- Coordinate technology and innovation projects from idea to execution;
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and actionable project deliverables;
- Support project planning and budget management, tracking costs, resources and priorities;
- Work closely with technical teams, clients, partners and suppliers;
- Track progress, anticipate risks and ensure effective follow-up;
- Explore opportunities where AI and technology can address business challenges;
- Translate between business and technical perspectives;
- Lead meetings, workshops and project discussions with different stakeholders;
- Communicate projects, ideas and technology use cases clearly to different audiences;
- Contribute to presentations, events or other technology and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Project Management, Technology Consulting, Project Coordination or a similar role;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and technology;
- Confidence interacting with clients, partners and technical teams;
- Comfortable presenting, facilitating discussions and bringing people together;
- Strong organization, ownership and follow-through;
- Ability to understand business problems and translate them into concrete actions;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Nice to have
- Exposure to AI, digital transformation or technology innovation projects;
- Experience working directly with companies or external partners;
- Experience with workshops, presentations, events or technology communities;
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and current AI use cases;
- Basic understanding of APIs, cloud environments, integrations or technology infrastructure;
- Experience with Jira, Linear or similar tools.

Skills Required
- 3+ years in IT operations, project coordination, or customer success in a tech environment
- Strong writing skills for clear ticket descriptions and customer communications
- Hands-on experience with Jira/Linear or a similar issue tracker
- Solid stakeholder management across customers, vendors, and engineering
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable driving follow-ups
- Experience in SaaS or managed services
- Familiarity with incident management and post-mortems
- Basic technical literacy to understand APIs, integrations, and environments
