1. POSITION SUMMARY


The Project Manager oversees the successful completion of projects per agreed parameters, including timeframe and budget. The PM acts as the client’s point of contact, ensuring smooth and thorough internal communication and client satisfaction. This position manages all aspects of a project from inception to completion, including planning, coordinating, and scheduling.

2. POSITION EXPECTATIONS


· Manages all aspects of projects from start to finish, managing people, processes, resources, and client expectations and satisfaction

· Plans and leads project kickoff meetings

· Monitors product damages and order discrepancies, collects evidence, and submits to Corrective Actions in accordance with company protocol

· Ensures excellent relations and regular communication with all internal departments

· Delivers professional and responsive customer service to clients, vendors, and other external parties

· Maintains detailed project documentation, including thorough notes, key decisions, customer requests, and revisions

· Coordinates project schedules based on manufacturer ship dates and customer expectations

· Creates installation packages for each project for schedulers and installation teams

· Performs site visits as needed

· Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential

· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, and regulations

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

4. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS


Education, Certifications and /or Licenses:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· PMP certification a plus


Experience:

· 3+ years’ experience in project management

· Experience in workspace furniture and refurbishment industry a plus


Knowledge/Skills:


· Proficiency with PCs and basic computer software, including MS Office Suite

· Proficiency with basic business math skills

· Ability to read blueprints and drawings

· Ability to generate creative solutions

· Ability to develop and maintain relationships to foster cooperation among varied departments and groups

· Ability to exercise efficiency of time and materials while maintaining excellent standards

· Knowledge of workspace furniture and industry highly preferred

· Ability to travel or work some nights or weekends as required

· Excellent presentation, listening, verbal, and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team; willingness to roll up sleeves and help the team

· Ability to manage and organize time to meet objectives and deadlines

6. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT


This position primarily works in an indoor office environment with a generally low to moderate noise level. When visiting worksites, the environment can be noisy and not climate-controlled.

7. COMPENSATION

· Wage range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year, paid on a biweekly basis

· Medical, dental, and vision insurance available for single or family coverage for full-time employees
