About the Role
The Project Manager is a key on-site, full-time role responsible for overseeing the delivery of defined programmes of work in line with contractual requirements and organisational objectives. The post holder will manage all aspects of project delivery, including contract administration, ensuring that activities are executed effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with agreed standards and scope.
In addition to contract management, the Project Manager will ensure that operational outcomes are achieved through effective coordination, assurance, and governance across all aspects of delivery. This includes managing project risks and mitigation strategies, maintaining robust quality assurance processes, and providing technical and strategic advice to stakeholders as required.
The role operates within a dynamic delivery environment, requiring collaboration with project controls teams and other stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and successful outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

Delivery of work packages in accordance with applicable contract conditions
Management of cost and schedule performance
Identification, management, and mitigation of project risks
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in engineering design and construction project delivery
Strong working knowledge of NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)
NEC4 ECC Accredited Project Manager (or equivalent experience applying NEC contracts)
Valid SMSTS and CSCS certifications
Demonstrable experience leading projects within a highly regulated environment
Full project lifecycle delivery experience from business case through to design, execution, and handover
Experience managing change control, assurance processes, and regulatory compliance
Proven ability in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks
HND (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
Desirable
Association for Project Management (APM) Registered Project Professional (RPP)
Degree in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
Chartered status within a relevant professional body
Experience using contract management systems (e.g. CEMAR)
Location
Devonport - the role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent on site.
