We are looking for an ambitious and passionate project manager to drive operational excellence across the company by building scalable processes, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring day-to-day execution.

Your role:

Reporting to the COO, you'll sit at the intersection of science, engineering, and commercial execution. Woking closely with the engineering, physics, manufacturing, and commercial teams you will:

·         Develop and maintain integrated project plans for key technical and product development initiatives.

·         Implement and iterate on project delivery practices, processes, tools, and reporting standards appropriate for a fast-moving, research-intensive environment.

·         Run sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and cross-team syncs.

·         Drive execution and accountability across project stakeholders.

·         Proactively identify blockers, dependencies, and scope creep, and escalate with proposed solutions.

·         Coordinate activities across teams.

·         Work with technical leads to translate complex development activities into executable plans.

·         Maintain accurate project dashboards/gantts and status reporting.

·         Manage partner-facing deliverable timelines in coordination with leadership.

·         Produce and coordinate project deliverable reporting to external stakeholders, in alignment with leadership.

·         Manage vendor delivery performance for active projects and coordinate timelines

·         Manage procurement workflows and operational contracts


Requirements

Your Skills:

·         7+ years of project or program management experience in a technology, engineering, scientific, or product development environment.

·         Technical background in engineering or science.

·         Demonstrable ability to manage projects with high technical ambiguity and long lead times.

·         Experience managing cross-functional technical projects.

·         Experience with both agile tooling (Jira) and structured program tracking.

·         Ideally, experience in deep-tech, quantum, robotics, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, or other R&D-intensive industries.

The role is full-time and based in Melbourne, Australia.

We have the flexibility to work from home from time to time, but the in-person interaction with our tech team will be critical.

Must have full working rights in Australia.
