Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Project Manager to join our site-based construction supervision and project management team on a flagship public realm development in Diriyah. The program comprises iconic and neighborhood parks, public open spaces, and more than 55 km of streetscape, delivering a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being.
What You’ll Be DoingLead end-to-end project delivery for assigned public realm and streetscape packages from mobilization through handover.
Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality in accordance with Parsons’ project management procedures and best practices.
Oversee site-based construction supervision teams to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes/standards.
Review and monitor contractor work programs, method statements, procurement schedules, and quality/HSE plans.
Coordinate interfaces between parks, open spaces, streetscapes, utilities, and adjacent developments to ensure integrated delivery.
Chair regular progress, technical, and coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, client representatives, and authorities.
Prepare and present periodic reports (progress, risk, issues, KPIs) to the client and Parsons senior management.
Lead the review of RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and technical queries to ensure design intent and constructability.
Support value engineering and optimization initiatives while maintaining quality, user experience, and long-term operational performance.
Drive rigorous implementation of HSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture on site.
Support contract administration activities including review of variations, claims, and payment applications in collaboration with commercial teams.
Ensure full compliance with Parsons’ quality management systems, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a Project Manager capacity on large-scale public realm, infrastructure, or mixed-use urban development projects.
Proven experience in site-based construction supervision and project management on parks, streetscape, or public open space projects.
Strong understanding of public realm design principles, landscape works, urban infrastructure, utilities coordination, and streetscape construction.
Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and work with international consultants and contractors.
Solid knowledge of contract administration and familiarity with FIDIC or similar standard forms of contract.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project) and MS Office; experience with common data environments is an advantage.
Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
