We are seeking a detail-oriented Warranty Claims Project Manager to assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Warranty Claims process. This role will submit and manage all claims to Budderfly vendors for purchased equipment through to closure. It will involve continual collaboration with various Budderfly departments, team members, and external vendors to ensure the accurate collection of documentation and timely submission of claims.

The Project Manager, Warranty plays a key role in assuring the warranty claims process is efficient, compliant, and effective, ultimately contributing to the smooth operation and success of the company.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the design and implementation of a streamlined process for the collection and submission of warranty claims to Budderfly vendors, ensuring compliance with both Budderfly policies and vendor requirements.
  • Maintain thorough records of all warranty claims, including purchase documentation, warranty terms, and correspondence with vendors.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Fulfillment, Finance, and other key stakeholders to gather the required information for claims submissions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with vendors regarding warranty claims, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Provide training and support to Budderfly team members on the warranty claim process, ensuring clarity and understanding of procedures.
  • Track the status of warranty claims and prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of the claims process, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support changes in the warranty process that promote streamlining and quality submissions and refine warranty-related policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Perform other duties and assist in special projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in process development and execution of warranty claim management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with warranty claims management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in vendor management or warranty claims processing in a relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of warranty terms and conditions as they relate to equipment and technology.

Location: Shelton, CT (On-site-Hybrid work schedule)

Compensation

$75,000$95,000 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
