Role and Responsibilities
Samsung Networks is a global leader in Open RAN, with commercial deployments across Asia, the US, Canada, and Europe. As part of our continued growth in Europe, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex 2G/4G and 5G Open RAN deployments.
This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale telecom projects in an international environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving delivery excellence.
What you’ll be doing:
Own end-to-end delivery of Open RAN and SMO deployments
Act as the main customer interface throughout the project lifecycle
Drive delivery across design, installation, integration, and testing phases
Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and governance frameworks
Lead project meetings, reporting, and stakeholder communication
Ensure milestones, SLAs, and contractual deliverables are met
Manage resources, subcontractors, and rollout processes
Deliver regular project reporting including progress, risks, issues, and milestone tracking
Coordinate and execute training plans
Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships
Skills and Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
8+ years of experience in project delivery within telecom or IT
Proven experience with RAN rollout projects
Experience in data centre project delivery (design, installation, commissioning, and testing)
Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL
Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, IT, or a related field
Advanced knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
Fluent Czech and English (written and spoken)
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively in complex, international environments
Nice to have:
Experience working with tier-1 telecom operators
Background in Open RAN or large-scale network transformation programs
Experience in multi-vendor environments
