Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development efforts for our Sales IT team. This role will act as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and the IT development team. The ideal candidate is Agile-savvy and excels at stakeholder management, able to introduce modern project management practices and ensure clear communication across all levels. You will coordinate the delivery of new features, enhancements and integrations to our CRM platform, drive Agile ceremonies. Domain knowledge of financial services or CRM systems is a definite advantage, but strong leadership and Agile project delivery skills are paramount.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Agile Project Leadership
Implement and champion Agile methodologies
Organize and run Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) to improve development efficiency and product quality.
Use JIRA and metrics (burn-down charts, velocity) to track progress and adjust plans proactively.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders.
Gather requirements from business departments, translate high-level needs into user stories/epics, and manage expectations through regular updates.
Communicate project status, risks, and wins in a clear, timely manner to all stakeholders, including end-users, IT management, and executives.
Project Planning & Execution
Turn strategic goals into concrete project plans.
Develop and maintain the project roadmap for CRM system features and bug fixes.
Prioritize the backlog in collaboration with business leaders,
Coordinate with the development team (cross regions) to ensure deliverables meet scope, quality, and timeline expectations.
Risk & Issue Management
Proactively identify project risks, resource gaps, technical challenges, and drive mitigation or resolution.
Ensure critical incidents or scope changes are communicated and handled within the Agile framework
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain clear project documentation
Prepare weekly executive status reports summarizing progress,
Requirements
Bachelor/Master Degree in IT, Computer Science or business related disciplines. PMP, CSM, or PMI-ACP certification is a plus
10+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis on technology-driven projects in an Agile and fast paced environment
Hands-on experience implementing Agile/Scrum practices.
Able to coach teams in Agile, run sprint ceremonies, and use Agile project management tools (Jira or similar) effectively.
Scrum Master certification or similar is a plus.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, database, APIs, cloud. (Hands-on coding is not required, but must be tech-savvy.)
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and confident facing with department heads and C-level executives to eliciting requirements and negotiating priorities.
Excellent communication in written and verbal English and Chinese (Mandarin is advantage)
Organized & delivery-focused, superb organizational and time-management abilities.
Critical thinking & problem-solving to identify root causes of issues and defining pragmatic solutions
