Project Manager (Research and Operations)

We’re excited to be supporting our client, a leading technology company. We are looking for a rigorous, organised Project Manager who can flex across both general campaign project management and research operations. This role is a key operational backbone, ensuring marketing campaigns and research efforts run on time and on budget. You will be the central coordinator for complex, multi-market marketing and policy campaigns, ensuring strategy, creative, and delivery remain unified. Additionally, you will manage our research agency partners and collaborate with the Technical PM to ensure our research data is organised and accessible. You bring rigour, structure, and clarity to a fast-moving environment.

This role requires you to work in an APAC-friendly time zone, starting at 5:30 a.m. IST.

Role: 

  • Research Agency Management: Serve as the primary lead for our clients' research vendors, overseeing the execution of studies, managing complex budgets, and ensuring the high-quality delivery of insights.
  • Campaign Program Management: Serve as the primary program lead for large-scale, cross-functional marketing and policy campaigns. You will own the master timeline, coordinate and track deliverables across Policy, Comms, and Marketing, and ensure a unified and successful launch across all regions.
  • Operational Architecture: Define, document, and enforce SOPs—creating the intake forms, project trackers, and decision frameworks to streamline both campaign and research operations.
  • Complex Project Management: Lead the program management for large-scale, cross-functional campaigns, coordinating timelines across Policy, Comms, and Marketing to ensure a unified launch.
  • Data Operations: Partner with the Technical PM to build, populate, and maintain a claims/proof points database. While they handle the build, you handle the taxonomy, data entry, and verification of claims.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, with experience in both Market Research and Marketing/Campaign Operations context.
  • Proven ability to manage external vendors, budgets, and complex timelines.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder campaign programs across multiple regions.
  • Strong organisational skills—you are a "finisher" who ensures no detail is missed in the delivery process.
  • Collaborative mindset—ability to work cross-functionally with technical and creative teams to get projects over the line. 
  • Expert proficiency in Project Management systems (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com) and experience designing intake/triage workflows for marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of market research methodologies (Qualitative/Quantitative) to effectively scope projects and hold vendors accountable.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
