A Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. They coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, budgets, and timelines, and proactively address risks to keep initiatives on track. By driving collaboration and maintaining clear communication, they transform strategic goals into measurable results.
An ideal project manager candidate combines strong leadership and communication skills to align diverse teams and stakeholders toward shared goals. They bring expertise in planning, organization, and risk management, ensuring projects stay on scope, schedule, and budget. Equally important, they demonstrate adaptability, problem-solving, and the ability to drive innovation while maintaining a focus on quality outcomes.
DAILY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following:
- Utilize and maintain PMO/IS project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence) to manage projects through their full lifecycle.
- Partners with cross-functional teams, business units, and vendors to deliver insurance programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Develop and refine project management templates, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Lead project meetings, set goals and milestones, track progress, and resolve blockers to keep initiatives on track.
- Monitor and report project performance, ensuring objectives, success metrics, and compliance requirements are met.
- Analyze and improve development, testing, and release processes to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as relationship manager with IS/IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to align priorities and achieve project objectives.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES AND REGISTRATION
- Preferred
- Certificate of Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Lean / Six Sigma Certifications Preferred
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required:
- Project Management experience and/or training, minimum 2-3 years
- Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
- Insurance Industry experience
- Smartsheet experience

- Familiarity with Agile, Hybrid, and Predictive project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry-specific workflows (e.g., policy issuance, billing, data flow) and experience with web-based/configurable applications.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts to support technical collaboration.
Pay Range
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
