About The Role:
Gen3 seeks a stellar Project Manager, Senior to play a key role in supporting project lifecycle management and team leadership for our federal client.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage the project to ensure successful delivery per requirements
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, including budget, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and performance, oversee scope and schedule management, and take corrective actions as needed
- Manage and coordinate project team members across multiple disciplines and external stakeholders
- Implement rigorous risk management processes to identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks
- Provide clear and effective project communications, including status reports, presentations, and recommendations
What You'll Need:
- 7+ years of project management experience, with a focus on large-scale government or regulatory projects
- Expertise in managing complex projects from end-to-end, including planning, budgeting, execution, and monitoring
- Strong leadership ability with proven success in managing high-performing teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management tools and software
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree required; PMP or related certification strongly preferred
What's Desired to Have:
- Previous experience supporting federal or state government agencies, especially federal financial agencies i.e. IRS or Treasury, is highly desired.
