Job DescriptionDo you enjoy being where operations actually happen?
This is a highly hands-on role, rather than a traditional desk-based project management position.
We are looking for someone who understands warehouse operations deeply, enjoys being on the shopfloor, and has a passion for processes, performance, and data. Based in Szczecin (PL) or Cheb (CZ), you will work closely with warehouse Operations across our European fulfillment network. You will combine operational experience, data, and direct shopfloor observation to identify root causes, develop solutions, and drive their implementation together with Operations, Data, Product, and Technology teams.
Your primary focus will be on the warehouse outbound department (pick, pack, ship). Most of your time will be spent on the warehouse floor at your home site with regular travel to other AUTODOC fulfillment centers.
Find the opportunities
Analyze warehouse performance: Track safety, quality, speed, productivity, and cost, with a heavy focus on operational efficiency.
Be on the shopfloor: Spend substantial time on the warehouse floor observing processes and working directly with operational teams to understand what really drives performance.
Connect data with reality: Use operational data and KPIs to identify patterns, bottlenecks, and root causes behind operational delays.
Challenge assumptions: Help Operations focus on high-impact opportunities rather than superficial fixes.
Turn Insights into Solutions
Frame the problem properly. Define it, set a baseline, and quantify the expected impact before building anything.
Design practical changes. Translate operational problems into workflow, layout, and system improvements that hold up in a live warehouse.
Test and iterate. Pilot in the live operation, measure the result, collect feedback from the floor, and refine.
Deliver Measurable Improvements
Drive execution: Turn validated opportunities into structured initiatives and carry them from concept to implementation.
Partner with Operations: Equip warehouse teams with the tools and data they need — and hold a high bar on standards.
Define and Document the standard: Document the improved process as SOPs and drive standards across warehouses.
What We Are Looking For
Above all, we are looking for someone who understands warehouse operations and wants to make them better. You could currently be working as an Area Manager, Operations Manager, Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement Manager, or Logistics Engineer. Formal project management certifications are far less important to us than your ability to identify operational problems, work with shopfloor teams, and deliver measurable results.
You Should Bring:
Hands-on Operational Experience: Several years of hands-on experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics operations (ideally in high-volume e-commerce, retail, 3PL, or automated fulfillment environments).
Deep Warehouse Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse processes, whether in inbound or outbound fulfillment, including picking, packing, or stow workflows, and cycle time optimization.
Data-Driven Mindset: Comfort working with operational data and KPIs yourself—not just consuming dashboards. You can identify trends, test hypotheses, and translate numbers into shopfloor actions.
Continuous Improvement Focus: A practical Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma mindset focused on practical problem-solving rather than theoretical frameworks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to build strong relationships with shopfloor teams while effectively communicating with Data, Product, and Tech specialists.
Language Skills: Fluent proficiency in English is required. Depending on your primary location, fluency in either Polish (for Szczecin) or Czech (for Cheb) is mandatory to communicate seamlessly with local warehouse operations staff.
Most importantly: You enjoy being on the shopfloor. You want to see how a process really works, talk to the people operating it, validate the numbers against operational reality, and find a better way of doing it.
