About the job:
We are seeking an Order Engineer to join our Richmond office. In this role, you will support the project order process and manage medium- and high-complexity Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger (GPHE) projects. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality, cost-effective customer documentation, coordinating customer-specific modifications, and planning and executing projects throughout the manufacturing and assembly process.
This is an onsite position located in Richmond, VA.
As part of the team, you will:
Receive and register orders in various systems. ERP, Project management system etc.
Produce and update documents for our on-going projects.
Interact with customer to secure exchange of documentation including customer portals.
Communicate progress to the team and stakeholders in internal/external project status meetings and by other means.
Develop documentation templates.
Participate in customer inspections when required.
Review Design to Order (DTO) and Engineer to Order (ETO) and register them in ERP system.
Be part of project management team.
Secure high quality of project execution by delivering according to confirmed activities: on time, on specification and on budget.
Be engaged in safety and quality work and immediately call. TM/UM when problems or risks occur.
Be active at Digital Status Board meetings.
Be active in problem solving and other improvement activities.
Suggest improvements on Instructions / SOPs.
Always consider opportunities of eliminating waste.
Take responsibility for your own development and for staying informed.

What you know:
You have bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with relevant work experience, and:

Experienced user of Microsoft D365 and has high knowledge of Word templates and complex structures in Excel.
