Job summary
This pivotal role manages the corporate marketing requests in Asana and drives them through the marketing workflow - from requirements to production.
As a Marketing Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the project backlog, prioritizing tasks based on business value, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring the request meets business objectives as well as customer needs. You’ll work across marketing functions to coordinate the various disciplines required to bring a concept to reality. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will measure it’s effectiveness of the project and the process, bringing insights to better tune the upcoming projects.
What you will do
- Manage the Marketing Backlog: Maintain a prioritized list of marketing requirements, ensuring it's up-to-date and reflects evolving needs.
- Prioritize Work: Use your business acumen to determine the order in which work items are tackled, focusing on delivering the most valuable work first.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Gather requirements, gather feedback, and communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders.
- Make Real-Time Decisions: Make decisions during development iterations to ensure the projects remain on track and meet evolving needs.
- Accept or Reject Work Results: Based on acceptance criteria, determine if completed work is ready for release.
- Ensure Alignment: Make sure the project requests align with the overall business and marketing goals and customer needs.
- Facilitate Continuous Improvement: Monitor and measure to Identify areas for improvement in the overall marketing process and adherence to marketing SLAs.
- Manage the flow of work: Ensure that work is moving through the Kanban board efficiently and that bottlenecks are identified and addressed.
What you will have
- 5+ years of Project Management Experience
- Experience in writing user stories and managing a kanban board
- Experience in a Marketing organization required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work across functions, at all management levels
