At the Valeo plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we manufacture powertrain systems that support fuel consumption reduction and lower emissions—including starters, air throttles, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, electromechanical actuators, and innovative electric drives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Governance & KPIs: Drive the achievement of profitability targets (Margin, Payback), Quality, and Production Preparation milestones.

  • Resource & Team Leadership: Secure and control project resources; functionally lead Project Team Members, setting their objectives and evaluating performance.

  • Financial Management: Define and manage the project budget, including the preparation and submission of investment requests (CAA/IAR) and the application of Design to Cost methodologies.

  • Risk & Issue Resolution: Solve project roadblocks through effective cross-functional support and the official Project Escalation process to ensure zero delays.

  • Customer Relationship: Act as the primary point of contact for local and central customer representatives, providing regular updates and managing all project changes.

  • Reporting & Planning: Validate timing scenarios, lead project reviews, and prepare high-level reports for the Project Steering Committee (PSC) and other governance bodies.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Automation, Industrial Engineering and Management preferred)

  • Experience: Proven experience in managing complex projects within the Automotive industry (OEM/OES)

  • Language Skills: English (C1 level) for negotiation and international reporting

  • Technical Mindset: Strong understanding of project finance, industrialization processes, and Design to Cost principles

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, "decisive" mindset, and the ability to challenge team readiness and handle high-pressure escalations
