The opportunity
The Łódź Technology Center is part of the global network of Hitachi Energy R&D centers.
The Technology Center specializes in the development of expert applications for transformer design, the creation of innovative technologies and construction solutions, and the optimization and automation of production processes.
You will have the chance to collaborate with domain experts, data engineers, and architects.
Role: Project Manager (IT/Engineering)
The goal for Project Manager role is an improvement of the process of generating and managing part numbers to increase the frequency of using already existing ones.
Location: Łódź (hybrid/remote)
How you'll make an impact:
- Supervise project team activities and manage work between different departments.
- Plan and implement project (create schedule, project timeline, track deliverables, risk management)
- Communicate with project stakeholders (representatives from IT, procurement, engineering, and production departments)
- Monitor and track project budget and progress, report to the steering committee
- Identify and eliminate obstacles in the parts number generation process
- Implement standards and best practices in parts number management
- Organize and conduct training for stakeholders on new processes and tools
- Ensure project activities comply with legal requirements and quality standards
Your background:
- Masters in technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience (preferred Mechanical Engineering and/or IT degree and experience)
- Experience in project management, particularly in production, parts management and related data and processes.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS DevOps, MS Project, Jira).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders from different functions and backgrounds
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Analytical thinking and practical problem-solving skills
- Experience in the Product Lifecycle Management systems (e.g. Windchill, Enovia) is a plus
