Summary
The Project Manager III is responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects from inception to completion, working on-site daily at the customer facility. This role involves coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring that projects meet organizational goals and adhere to industry standards.
More specifically, the candidate will provide the customer with Management Support for the following:
- Test various Images and keep track of Vulnerabilities found and work through resolution. Manage the tasks to develop a Gold Image for Linux and Windows
- Manage the customer’s storage task order to create profiles for Storage System access and review current permissions and apply least privilege required and manage implementation of it
- Manage the task of migrating applications on from a customer specific OS to RHEL OS
About the Role
Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

- Working with the team to keep track of Images developed and tested
- Provide expertise in documenting and guiding the teams to get to an effective Gold Image for Linux and Windows OS
- Conduct daily meetings with Security teams to keep the task of building the Image on track and provide guidance
- Work with the customer’s Storage SA’s to implement least privilege to user profiles
- Manage and direct teams on migrating Applications running on a customer specific OS to RHEL
Requirements
- 8 – 12 years of experience managing projects
- Microsoft Project Plan experience
- High competency and understanding of IT and IT Project Management
Work environment
- This work is normally done onsite at the customer facility
Physical demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Frequent use of a keyboard, laptop and mouse
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, collaborating with team members
Required education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 8 years of applicable experience
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of FISMA requirements for Systems security desired
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance

The base salary range for this position is: $164,703.31 - $211,771.99
