Position Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination, scope management and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of the project. Identifies, acquires, and utilizes company resources to achieve project/product objectives. Will monitor and encourage engineering, drafting, purchasing and production to complete milestones within specific budgets and schedules. Interface with external customers as well as top management for the purpose of communicating status of project throughout life cycle. Will manage the scope of the project to ensure customer requirements are met while also ensuring scope creep does not erode profit margin. The Project Manager position requires a broad range of skills including communication to all levels of the organization, decision making, planning, technical knowledge of product, able to read drawings and problem-solving skills.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Monitors and manages project process.
  • Monitors progress in engineering, drafting, purchasing, and production to ensure delivery
  • requirements are on track.
  • Defines and manages project schedules, resources, and delivery commitments.
  • Ensures technical standards of design comply with customer requirements.
  • Ensures completion of projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
  • Develops cost forecasts, monitors project expenses to control project costs and financial KPIs, works closely with finance and accounting teams to report project financials.
  • Identifies opportunities and execute strategies to improve project profit margin without sacrificing quality, or customer experience.
  • Manages and escalates project risks and issues.
  • Ability to navigate change, whether technical or production, and communicate the
  • results of change effectively internally and/or externally.
  • Maintains adequate records and systems.
  • Analyzes job after completion. Provide feedback to departments for information or improvement purposes.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities, as necessary.
What we're looking for

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of demonstrated experience in successfully managing industrial projects while interfacing with domestic and international customers.
  • Demonstrated understanding of contracts, managing scope changes, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Knowledge / understanding of project related functions (engineering, procurement, fabrication, logistics).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with skid packaged equipment in natural gas industry.
  • Familiar with common industry standards such as ASME, API and applicable manufacturing, quality processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • PMP Certified
