Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large and complex technical projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery
• Manage project scope, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, risks, and change management
• Partner with stakeholders across the business including product, development, legal, vendors, and supply management to achieve key milestones
• Develop project plans, estimates, and action steps related to labor, materials, hardware, and software
• Provide clear communication on project status, issues, actions, and outcomes
• Foster teamwork by coaching and motivating project members, and establishing clear roles and expectations
• Identify risks, facilitate mitigation plans, and navigate challenges with sound judgment
• Promote and contribute to continuous improvement within project management processes
• Ensure proper documentation and maintain all deliverables for auditing
• Support portfolio‑level organization for release planning
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (required)
• 8+ years relevant work experience, including 3+ years of project management
• Experience leading large technical projects over $1M
• Working knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, and Microsoft Suite
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, negotiation, and decision‑making skills
• Experience in software development and infrastructure projects (preferred)
• PMP certification or Master’s degree (preferred)
• Energy industry experience (preferred)
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $119,000-144,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.
Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
