Applies project management methodologies (hybrid) to guide project execution across the full lifecycle. Partners with business and technical stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, policies, and standards.
Leads cross-functional project teams and serves as the primary point of contact for project communication. Builds and maintains strong stakeholder relationships and ensures transparency through regular status reporting and effective communication.
Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks, issues, and dependencies. Monitors project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource utilization, and takes corrective action as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
Supports organizational change management efforts to drive adoption and realization of project benefits. Facilitates decision-making, removes barriers, and ensures teams are aligned and progressing toward defined objectives.
Conducts post-project evaluations, including lessons learned and benefits realization, to support continuous improvement. Contributes to PMO standards, tools, and best practices, and may provide guidance or mentorship to less experienced team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in healthcare IT, including clinical and business applications, EMR/EHR, or infrastructure initiatives
• PMI PMP/PMI CAPM certifications or other relevant advanced project management educationEducation Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Services, Business, Healthcare or a related field and 2+ years of project management or project leadership experience
OR - Associates degree and 4+ years of progressive project support and/or project leadership experience in Information Services, Business, or Healthcare
