As a Project Manager on the Energy team, you'll play a key role in bringing energy-related projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned Maintenance CAPEX and expense-funded energy projects from initiation through completion.
  • Support larger, cross-functional energy and infrastructure initiatives led by senior team members.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones while monitoring progress against established goals.
  • Manage project scope and ensure all changes are properly documented, communicated, and approved.
  • Track budgets, project performance, and energy savings metrics to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status updates and performance reports to leadership.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and IT, as well as external vendors and service providers.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, tools, reporting templates, and best practices that support efficient project execution.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to measure success, identify lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support utility rebate programs related to water, solar, HVAC, roofing, lighting, and other energy-efficiency initiatives, including application tracking, documentation, reporting, and rebate payment processing.
  • Analyze project and energy performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Two or more years of project management, energy, facilities, construction, maintenance, or related industry experience.
  • Understanding of energy consumption, energy flow, and the financial impact of energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience tracking project schedules, budgets, milestones, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to build effective, results-oriented relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.

  • Project management training or certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar).
