Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the growth of our Motion Service hydropower business in Italy. The role will focus on managing projects related to hydropower systems, revamping of electrical equipment, and performance improvement activities on existing alternators and turbines.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly technical environment, collaborating closely with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery and successful project execution.

Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets.

This role is contributing to the Motion Service Division in Vittuone (Milan)
You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leading and coordinating the entire project lifecycle (end‑to‑end).

  • Managing customer relationships

  • Preparing and maintaining project schedules using MS Project, including Gantt charts and progress reports.

  • Monitoring project progress, resource allocation, costs, and overall project financials.

  • Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities.

  • Ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Overseeing on‑site activities when required, including travel to customer sites and hydropower plants.

  • Ensuring formal project acceptance and contract close‑out in accordance with customer requirements and service standards.


Qualifications for the role
  • Understanding of the hydropower industry, including alternators, turbines, and related electrical equipment.

  • Proven experience in Project Management, ideally within industrial services, electromechanical systems, or hydropower.

  • Experience working directly with customers and managing contractual aspects.

  • Strong command of project planning tools, particularly Microsoft Project.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Willingness to work on‑site when needed (travel to plants, commissioning activities, supervision at customer locations).

  • Good communication, stakeholder management, problem‑solving, planning, and prioritization.

  • Professional working knowledge of English

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or a similar technical field.
