You will manage two DFAT-funded global health programs, coordinating delivery across diverse international partners and stakeholders. 

You will build expertise in safe, ethical practice, GEDSI and MEL frameworks within a leading infectious diseases institute..  

What you will deliver:  

  • Coordinate operational delivery of HiT3 and ASPHA, maintaining aligned workplans, budgets and comprehensive risk registers. 

  • Organise and service governance meetings and working groups, preparing documentation and driving follow-up on agreed actions. 

  • Manage travel, visas, procurement and contracting, ensuring compliance with University policies and DFAT accountability requirements. 

  • Monitor program budgets and financial acquittals with finance colleagues, aligning financial and programmatic reporting and mitigating risks. 

  • Support DFAT reporting, GEDSI, safeguarding and MEL integration, maintaining accurate records and continuously improving program processes.  

You may be a great fit if you:  

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in public health, global health, international development or a closely related discipline. 

  • Demonstrate strong project management capability, including work planning, communication and risk management across complex programs. 

  • Build and sustain productive relationships with government, multilateral and in-country partners across diverse cultural contexts. 

  • Produce high-quality reports, briefings and correspondence, tailoring communication to donor, technical and executive audiences. 

  • Apply GEDSI and safeguarding principles, showing commitment to safe, ethical and inclusive global health practice. 

  • Have the ability to travel within the Indo-Pacific region and work flexibly across time zones to support program delivery.
