Project Manager (English speaking)

In this role you will

• You will be joining an awesome team to oversee the full lifecycle of software development projects, from planning to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes that serve millions of users.
• Act as the central point of communication for clients, you will have a significant influence on our company’s success by using your super good English communication skills (or even better your German skills) to translate their needs into actionable tasks for your team and making sure their expectations are met.
• Organize and lead your team to meet internal and external deadlines, including reporting, invoicing, and client updates.
• Proactively manage project risks by identifying, logging, and communicating them, while driving resolution strategies.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with both clients and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
• Customize your team’s working approach to meet specific client needs, ensuring projects are handled with agility and efficiency.
• Lead conflict resolution within the team and with clients, taking ownership of challenges and driving transparent, ethical solutions.
• Build a positive team culture, celebrating milestones, and ensuring the team is motivated and aligned with client goals.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and contribute to broader business development goals.
• If you know the ins and outs of eCommerce it’s a plus. If you know more other business domains - even better. If not, then we will teach you.
• It’s no rocket science - as long as you are smart and willed to learn.
• Chance to travel and visit the customers on-site.

What you will bring

• Having a bachelor's degree in the IT field or in a related area of Project Management.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management within the Software Development industry. You know your stuff and understand how to deal with demanding clients; experience in consulting or a similar field is definitely valuable.
• Proficiency in English communication is a must-have requirement. German communication skills are highly preferred.
• Experience in cross-cultural communication with English/German-speaking teams is essential. Additionally, familiarity with your Asian team is important; speaking Vietnamese or experience working with Vietnamese teams is a plus.
• Strong project management skills, including expertise in planning, monitoring, controlling, and adjusting workflows as required.
• The ability to assess risks effectively and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and business environments.
• A proactive, growth-oriented attitude, always seeking new learning opportunities and ways to improve processes.
• A collaborative spirit, capable of working well within teams and taking the initiative when workload permits, assisting other teams or contributing to internal projects.
• Hands-on technical experience or a strong understanding of software development processes is a plus.
