We are currently seeking a Project Manager - Geospatial with a min. of 5+ years of professional experience to be part of our Geospatial Division to work out of our Huntsville, AL office.


The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment where projects are derived from both public and private clientele. Responsibilities
  • Manages remote sensing project life-cycle, from proposal development and scoping to final delivery and closeout
  • LiDAR and photogrammetry background in both office and manned flight operations
  • Perform quality control of remote sensing activities and project deliverables
  • Work with WGI Market & Operational Leaders with a primary focus on business development and sales in remote sensing, and to help grow geospatial services for the firm
  • Responsible for the growth and profitability of the company
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic operational goals and KPI’s
  • Plan, implement, and manage the overall long-term business success strategy
  • Work with the other senior leaders to identify capital investments, strategic alliances, key hires, acquisitions, and growth opportunities
  • Mentor, manage, and train field and office associates
  • Perform work safely and effectively
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with remote sensing projects preferred
  • Excels at networking, negotiating, and strategic and critical thinking
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field highly preferred
  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of professional experience with remote sensing projects
  • Experience with LiDAR and photogrammetry in office and manned flight operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong networking, negotiating, strategic thinking, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
