About the Role

Trimble Forestry is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager Forestry to lead the successful implementation of our innovative solutions for our clients. This role is pivotal in managing the deployment of Trimble Products and Services, ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous management of budget, scope, and schedule. The Project Manager Forestry will work closely with the Sales team from the pre-contract phase, setting clear expectations on deployment methodology and overseeing the creation of comprehensive statements of work. This position demands deep knowledge of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for resolving customer business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft Statements of Work or Change Orders that clearly define project scope, schedule, budget, and resources.

  • Support the Sales team in RFP responses and presentations, detailing implementation approaches.

  • Oversee project management in both pre and post-sales phases, ensuring clarity on product delivery, project scope, and contractual obligations.

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation.

  • Serve as the primary communication link to the client, providing updates on project deliverables, schedule, budget, and overall performance.

  • Lead or participate in project team meetings and secure milestone completion and acceptance from clients.

  • Efficiently manage Project Resources, including Business Consultants, Technical Consultants, Contractors, etc., in collaboration with Trimble resource managers and/or consulting partners.

  • Provide performance feedback to resource managers and coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule, with monthly reporting.

  • Address any invoicing and customer satisfaction issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within the forestry sector or related industries.

  • Deep knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex customer business challenges.

  • Leadership skills with experience managing diverse project teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Forestry, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.

Working Conditions

This role may require occasional travel to client sites and flexibility to meet project demands outside of standard business hours.
