We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior Engineering Project Manager to take ownership of ROM and Firmware (FW) development projects.
This role is ideal for candidates with a Master’s degree who are early in their career but ready to actively manage tasks, drive progress, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking milestones, and ensuring alignment with technical and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Take responsibility for the planning, execution, and delivery of ROM and FW development projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Progress Tracking: Monitor daily progress, follow up on issues, and coordinate with team members to maintain momentum and resolve blockers.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with engineering, product management, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. Track milestones and ensure timely delivery.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with the team.
Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Initial experience in firmware or embedded software projects (e.g., through internships, academic projects, or early professional roles).
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and basic project management principles.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project is beneficial.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in cross-functional and/or international teams.
Interest in hardware-software integration projects.
Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and manage responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
