The Role

Project Manager, Enablement

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and influential Project Manager to join our Enablement team. This pivotal role reports to the VP of Enablement, with dotted-line reporting to the Director of Strategic Internal GTM Enablement and the Director of Strategic Partner Enablement.

As the central hub of intelligence for driving efficient cross-functional work and achieving strategic enablement outcomes, you will orchestrate multiple projects across internal and external enablement functions. You'll ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget, applying your expertise in project management methodologies, resource allocation, and risk management. This position requires a skilled individual capable of managing intricate cross-functional dynamics to deliver effective enablement initiatives while enhancing PMO processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate seamless collaboration between internal (deal teams) and external (partner) enablement functions to meet shared goals and deadlines.
  • Manage all strategic and ad-hoc requests, deeply understanding workflows to effectively triage, assign, and communicate decisions. This includes managing intake boards, charters, and projects.
  • Implement process improvements, ensure clear roles and responsibilities, and maintain transparent project information.
  • Proactively communicate project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, fostering strong relationships and facilitating alignment. Negotiate with stakeholders on project scope, timelines, and resources.
  • Leverage a strong understanding of mature strategic enablement principles, process optimization, and the needs of field teams and stakeholders.
  • Apply and tailor various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) depending on project requirements and organizational needs.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring clear alignment with business goals.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while meeting project objectives.
  • Utilize project management tools such as Asana to create and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Handle conflicts, delegate tasks effectively, providing team members with the necessary resources and support.
  • Ensure all projects are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives, delivering measurable value. Manage multiple projects within the PMO portfolio, ensuring optimal resource allocation and prioritization.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead projects through changes in scope, resources, and market conditions, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Efficiently allocate resources (people, time, budget) to meet project needs while maintaining optimal performance and efficiency, ensuring projects are completed within budget.
  • Proficient with project management software (especially Asana), data analysis tools, and leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline processes. Proficient in collaboration and communication tools such as Slack and Microsoft Teams.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects to successful completion.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of enablement workflows and the ability to triage requests effectively.
  • Strong process orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of the demands of a high-performing field organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting, resource management, and cost control in project management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • PMP certification and/or Scrum Master certification highly preferred.
  • Proven experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong expertise in project management software (e.g., Asana).
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in risk management, portfolio management, and strategic alignment.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools for improving project management efficiency.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$94,100 - $134,400 - $174,700

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
