As a project manager, you will take ownership of the success of multiple projects.  You’ll manage every phase of the project, from submittals to ordering material and to maintaining consistent and proactive communication with contractors.  The role requires effective communication and coordination with both internal teams and external customers to ensure schedules are met, successful project completion occurs, and customer satisfaction is achieved.

 

Detailing and Comsense experience is beneficial but not a requirement. Opportunities may be available at all levels and salary will be based on experience.  Candidates that exceed the preferred years of experience will be compensated in accordance with skill set and relative work experience.

Qualifications

Essential Functions

  • Review of plans and specifications and preparation of submittals
  • Coordination of all material purchasing, shop fabrication, and delivery scheduling with the applicable internal teams assigned to those functions
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and change order documentation
  • Communicate timely, consistently, and effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Manage relationships with customers and third parties/vendors
  • Troubleshoot and address questions as they arise

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must have knowledge and prior experience in the door and hardware industry
  • Comsense Advantage/Enterprise experience a plus
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and be able to handle situations ranging from routine to emergency in a calm and efficient manner
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to handle multiple projects
  • 3-7 years’ experience in commercial door and hardware
