The Project Manager – Data Management & Transformation will lead the delivery of strategic data initiatives, with a focus on Data Quality (DQ) remediation, data management capabilities, and enterprise data transformation programmes. The role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project plans, and driving execution across business and technology stakeholders.
The successful candidate will bring strong programme and project management expertise, coupled with practical experience delivering data-focused initiatives involving data quality improvement, data lineage, data models, system design, and data governance capabilities.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of data management and transformation initiatives.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, delivery schedules, and critical paths.
- Coordinate activities across business, data, technology, architecture, and vendor teams.
- Drive project execution from mobilisation through implementation and transition.
- Ensure delivery aligns with agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality objectives.
- Manage programmes focused on Data Quality (DQ) remediation and continuous data quality improvement.
- Coordinate initiatives related to data governance, data lineage, metadata management, and master data management.
- Support the implementation of enterprise data management frameworks and capabilities.
- Track and monitor data-related deliverables, dependencies, and remediation activities.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and data management outcomes.
- Partner with business stakeholders, data owners, technology teams, architects, and external vendors.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, working groups, and steering forums.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication across all project participants.
- Escalate risks, issues, and decision points appropriately to leadership teams.
- Maintain and manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).
- Identify project delivery risks and drive mitigation plans.
- Manage dependencies across multiple workstreams and transformation initiatives.
- Establish project controls and reporting mechanisms to support effective governance.
- Work closely with data architects, solution architects, business analysts, and engineering teams.

Skills Required
- 8–12+ years of experience in project management, program management, or transformation delivery
- Proven experience delivering data management, data governance, or data transformation programs
- Strong experience managing Data Quality remediation initiatives
- Experience delivering projects involving data lineage, data models, data governance, metadata management, data integration, enterprise data platforms, and system design
- Experience coordinating multiple business and technology workstreams
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise transformation environments
- Financial services, banking, insurance, or highly regulated industry experience
