We are currently looking for a Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
I. Requirements
- Degree qualified civil/structural engineer,
- Registered as a Professional or Chartered Engineer with an internationally recognized Professional Engineering body
- At least 20 years’ experience in managing large scale civil engineering construction projects, of which 10 years were spent mainly on marine works that involved significant dredging, reclamation and rock works as well as wharf and jetty construction
- Experience in risk assessment, geotechnical and engineering works, environmental impact assessments, tender documents, site supervision and contract administration
- Other pre-requisites are excellent team spirit, strong technical competence, good interpersonal skills and with a “can-do” attitude.

II. Responsibilities
- Manage Consultants supervision Team to oversee the construction site, main contractor, and workers to ensure project works are delivered to a high level of quality and safety according to the stipulated requirements by the Employer.
- Overall responsible for the effective implementation and successful completion of construction project within schedule, cost and quality.
- Report to Employer’s senior management on project progress, conduct monthly, weekly and ad-hoc meetings with the Employer to discuss on strategies to complete the construction works efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc meetings with Employer and Contractor to track project progress and provide necessary expert advice to complete works effectively.
- Liaise closely with the entire Consultant Supervision Team which include Construction Supervision Team (Senior Engineers, Section Engineers, Engineers and inspectors for project management delivery), Design Team, Project Management Support Team, Contract Advisory Team to provide excellent and timely services to the Client to manage Construction Supervision works and lead the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Manage each phase of the project from design to completion and ensure efficient use of resources and enhance cost-effectiveness.
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved methodologies and procedures.
- Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
- Develop and maintain project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records.
- Monitor and manage works to ensure Contractor carryout works in accordance with the Project Schedule.
- Performs change order estimating and assists the Construction Manager/Project Manager in-change for negotiations.
- Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors’ construction schedules.
- Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.
- To be stationed overseas.

IV. Ensures:

- Compliance risks associated with your area of responsibility are understood and managed effectively.
- Appropriate processes and controls are implemented within your area of responsibility for managing compliance risks effectively.
- Any incidents of suspected non-compliance with Company policies within your area of responsibility are reported and acted on in a timely way.
- Company assurance processes to review and improve effectiveness of Compliance management within your area of responsibility are supported.
