Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic Cloud Data Migration programme. This role will involve managing a complex technology transformation initiative, coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders, and overseeing third-party vendor delivery.
The successful candidate will have strong project management experience, a proven track record delivering cloud migration or infrastructure projects, and the ability to operate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of large-scale Cloud Data Migration projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Coordinate activities across internal teams, external vendors and business stakeholders.
- Ensure project governance, reporting and documentation are maintained to the required standards.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and facilitate effective communication across all project participants.
- Manage third-party vendors and track delivery against agreed milestones and objectives.
- Apply appropriate project management methodologies based on project requirements.
- Support the successful delivery of additional infrastructure and technology projects as required.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with organisational policies, standards and controls.
Required Experience
- Proven experience managing Cloud Data Migration projects.
- Strong project management background with experience delivering complex technology initiatives.
- Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated third-party/vendor management experience.
- Knowledge of a range of project management methodologies with the ability to adapt approaches as required.
- Experience delivering IT infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within highly regulated environments.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with governance, risk and compliance requirements within large organisations.
- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or Scrum.
- Experience managing large-scale data migration, infrastructure, or cloud modernisation initiatives.
