We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale technology transformation initiatives across the capital market and/or wealth management sector. This role is responsible for end-to-end programme leadership, ensuring successful execution of strategic transformation objectives through strong governance, stakeholder management, risk oversight, and delivery excellence.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing complex, multi-stream projects involving multiple vendors and senior executive stakeholders. Experience within Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Retail Brokerage, or broader financial services environments is highly desirable.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme Leadership & Delivery- Lead the overall delivery of strategic technology transformation programmes from mobilisation through implementation and transition to business-as-usual operations.
- Establish, maintain, and manage integrated programme plans, key milestones, delivery schedules, and critical paths.
- Drive programme mobilisation activities, implementation planning, and transition management to ensure successful outcomes.
- Design and manage programme governance frameworks, ensuring effective decision-making and accountability across all stakeholders.
- Lead Steering Committee meetings and executive governance forums.
- Prepare and deliver programme status updates, executive reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Oversee programme RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) management processes.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks and issues.
- Establish and govern change control processes to maintain scope, timelines, and budget integrity.
- Engage and manage senior business, technology, and executive stakeholders across the organisation.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams, vendors, and delivery partners to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive programme success.
- Manage programme budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, and overall commercial performance.
- Oversee resource planning and allocation to ensure optimal programme delivery.
- Monitor programme costs and benefits to support business case realization.
- Ensure quality and consistency across all programme deliverables.
- Implement delivery assurance mechanisms and governance controls.
- Support executive decision-making through data-driven programme insights and escalation management.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in large-scale transformation programmes.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology transformation programmes.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-vendor delivery environments.
- Extensive experience establishing and leading programme governance structures and Steering Committees.
- Strong understanding of programme financial management, budgeting, and commercial oversight.
- Experience within Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Retail Brokerage, or related financial services domains is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Relevant programme management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, MSP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.
