Our Services team is currently looking for a Project Manager for a permanent position (full-time). The selected candidate will be able to work in a hybrid mode and should be able to travail on a frequent basis to EMEA customers sites or to our Robotiq France installations in the Lyon area.

ABOUT THE POSITION :

Our Services team’s mission is to customize and install turnkey robotic solutions for our local and international clients. With a strong engineering background, the Project Manager acts as the link between the client and the project team, validating and managing expectations while negotiating contractual changes. The Project Manager contributes to project execution based on their expertise and actively participates in internal project management, leveraging both technical and managerial skills to ensure the success of installation projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Installation Projects Implementation
    • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure a smooth transition between the sales and project implementation phases.
    • Serve as the main point of contact and the face of the project for the client.
      • Coordinate, plan proactively, communicate expectations, gather information, and lead client meetings.
    • Support and advise the Services Director in assembling project teams.
    • Manage client projects collaboratively with the client and project team (timeline, budget tracking, deliverables, project scope, responsibilities).
    • Take full ownership of all tasks and responsibilities required for project execution, based on expertise and knowledge, with a high degree of autonomy.
      • May be involved in phases such as design, programming, testing, or installation.
      • Actively participate in any other tasks required to deliver a successful project.
  • Participate in the sales phase of installation projects
    • Proactively develop tools and documentation to enhance the sales team’s autonomy and participate in bids and preliminary designs as needed.
  • Provide support for completed installation projects.
  • Collaborate with the product development team.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

DESIRED PROFILE :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation project management (or a similar field).
  • Pragmatic, resourceful, organized, and results-oriented individual with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, business sense, and influential leadership.
  • Technical skills: mechanical and electrical design, technical and manual aptitude, knowledge of automation and robotics technologies (for example UR Caps, Polyscope, etc.).
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
  • Flexible with work hours and location depending on project needs (visit to Lyon office, on-site visits, remote work, or different client time zones).
  • Available to travel within EMEA and the Americas. A valid passport and driver’s license are required.
  • Language Skills : 
    • English: Full professional proficiency
    • German or Italian: Fluent proficiency to communicate comfortably internally and externally (essential for this role) 
    • Any other relevant language for the identified market will be considered an asset.
