Job Description

As an Entry Level Project Management Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects within the organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in project management skills, providing a solid foundation for a successful career in this field.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordination: Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables and milestones.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and management to ensure alignment of goals and expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success, and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress and deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards and requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address challenges and obstacles that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and apply lessons to future projects.

Qualifications

Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.

Previous experience or internships in project management or related fields

Minimum work experience: Entry level

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management software tools or cloud based tools

Behavioral Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities
