This position is seeking a highly motivated, strong communicator to join the Global Supply Chain Program Management (GSCPM) team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leading program execution for supplier activities for Modernization efforts that each have profit/loss responsibilities, ensuring milestones are met, and objectives are achieved.
- Identifying, assessing, and managing risks and opportunities to mitigate challenges and optimize supplier performance.
- Serving as the Control Account Manager (CAM) with full Earned Value Management System (EVMS) responsibilities, ensuring accurate cost, schedule, and performance tracking.
- Providing frequent, detailed program status updates to internal teams, ensuring leadership and stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and solutions.
- Managing and overseeing proposal efforts, including supplier coordination and cost analysis to align with program requirements that lead to BOM execution strategies and setting priorities with the Procurement team
- Ensures that prior to execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies
- Participates in supplier/subcontractor negotiations in collaboration with the Subcontracts Organization
- Briefs the management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance and ensures subcontractor performs within the established program cost, schedule and quality requirements
- Acts as a focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) on behalf of supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.
- Leads supply chain Program execution is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution.
- Candidate must be an effective communicator and will be expected to build relationships across program functions.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization
Basic Qualifications:
Level 2:
- Must have Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience, Masters Degree or in lieu of degree with 6 years of experience.
- Experience must be in the following: Supply Chain, Project/Program Management, or Business Management
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government Secret Clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time deemed by business needs
Level 3:
- Must have Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience, Masters Degree with 3 years of experience or in lieu of degree with 9 years of experience.
- Experience must be in the following: Supply Chain, Project/Program Management, or Business Management
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government Secret Clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time deemed by business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current and Active Secret Security Clearance or Higher
- Special program access
- Demonstrated experience in major subcontractor management
- Program execution and Proposals Experience
- Cost Account Manager (CAM) Certification and EVMS Experience
- Experience within Material Resource Planning (MRP) Environment.
