Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal OR Sr. Principal Project Management to support Engineering Workforce Operations as the UR&R (University Recruiting & Relations) Staffing lead. This position will be based out of the Melbourne, FL location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The selected candidate will lead UR&R and Onboarding activities which require the the following:
- Planning of yearly forecast of interns and college hires and work with the programs to develop a plan for the following year.
- Lead bi-weekly meetings with discipline leads.
- Utilize POST for UR&R activities and provide weekly reports.
- Work with Discipline Leads on clearance activities and provide weekly reports on status.
- Lead intern onboarding and meet with the program weekly to ensure that seating and equipment is available for the interns.
- Lead Onboarding for the sector (NGAS) and provide a report that is distributed to NGAS and Space sectors, with a detailed listing of all upcoming hires and their onboarding status.
- Work with the programs to provide data reports and support talent acquisition data calls from POST.
This position may be filled at a Principal Project Manager or Senior Principal Project Manager level based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Project Manager (Level 3)
Must possess a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience OR a Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
Must have professional and/or military experience to include a background in Staffing, Project Management, Strategy and Operations, and/or Business Operations
Experience with workday and POST
Ability to travel up to 10% of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
Ability to obtain a government issued clearance as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Senior Principal Project Manager (Level 4)
Must possess a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience.
Must have professional and/or military experience to include a background in Staffing, Project Management, Strategy and Operations, and/or Business Operations
Experience with workday and POST
Ability to travel up to 10% of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
Ability to obtain a government issued clearance as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading, training, and directing activities of team members through execution of competitive and/or sole source proposals
Active DoD Secret security clearance
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
