Role Purpose
As the Project Management Leader, you will oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale cooling solution deployments—from initial contract award to final commissioning and site handover. You will provide functional leadership to a team of project managers and engineers to ensure that our Thermal systems meet the stringent technical requirements of global hyperscale and colocation data center clients. You will define the internal standards on project management discipline, building scalable playbooks and leading high-stakes execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Oversight: Direct the execution of multi-million-dollar thermal management (incl. chiller, airside, CDU and controls) projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to precise technical specifications. This involves working in a matrix structure with service and commissioning teams, logistics teams, sales teams and operations teams.
Safety and Compliance Framework: Ensure every project aligns with global safety, environmental, and mission-critical standards
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Document and implement the Datacenter Project Management Playbook covering the entire project lifecycle—from contract award to final handover. Create repeatable processes that allow the team to handle projects consistently across customers and geographies.
KPI Management: Establish and track rigorous Operational and Financial KPIs (e.g., Margin Variance, On-Time Delivery, Commissioning First-Pass Yield).
Technical & Commissioning Oversight: Oversee the Level 1–5 Commissioning process (from Factory Acceptance Testing to Integrated Systems Testing). Ensure chiller integration with the client’s Building Management System (BMS) and DCIM platforms.
Continuous improvement: Lead post-project reviews to capture "Lessons Learnt" and systematically integrate them back into the SOPs to prevent recurring issues. Implement Lean Project Management techniques to be more efficient and reduce waste
Data-Driven Leadership: Use project data to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain or site installation phases, driving measurable efficiency gains.
Senior Interface: Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and Lead engineers at Global Hyperscale’s, Consultants and General Contractors (GCs). Serve as the senior point of escalation for complex technical or logistical issues, maintaining a "solutions-first" mindset.
Risk Mitigation: Manage "Change Order" processes and long-lead logistics to meet strict customer required schedules.
