Purpose Statement: An integral member of the Project Management department providing increased productivity and overall effectiveness of the engineering Project Management function. This role will provide the Project Management staff with a support function that affords stronger focus on core responsibilities while increasing efficiency and consistency.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Supports the Project Management process through contributions to continuous improvement. Identifies opportunities for standardized work and best practices to ensure efficient processes.
- Monitors and analyze financial status of individual projects managed by Design center, not limited to Conversion, Milestone, P&L, Project rate, charge % and forecast review
- Supports the financial billing, Purchasing and Business Office functions to help resolve action items and conflicts between local and corporate finance group
- Demonstrates knowledge of the PM Toolset by being the “go to” person for the Project Management Team and other team members who have questions and/or need guidance. Provide functional guidance to juniors in accomplishing operational objectives.
- Proactively review what PMC team (local and global) additional service offering might be able to support the Project Management Team and works to implement these items across the organization. Actively promotes the PMC role and communicates new or enhanced service offerings.
- Participates in the CAPA process by identifying quality problems and supports the CAPA process to ensure Plexus consistently provides high quality services. Maintains knowledge and understanding of Plexus' standard quality policies and procedures as well as customer specific project needs to ensure the project complies with all.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required with 1 or more years of related experience preferred.
