Pinnacle Environmental Management Support | Full-Time | Greensboro, NC | $45,000–$55,000

About Pinnacle

For over 30 years, Pinnacle Environmental Management Support has built an exceptional reputation delivering results for clients in the fuel retail, energy, and environmental sectors. Our success comes from talented people who take pride in their work, value collaboration, and understand that our clients' success is at the heart of everything we do.

We're a 58-person firm — close-knit by design. When you do great work here, people notice. When you need support, people show up. That's the environment we've built, and it's the environment we protect.

The Opportunity

Pinnacle is adding to its Project Management Office, and we're looking for a Project Management Assistant to help it run well from the ground up. This is a role for someone who is energized by bringing order to complexity, enjoys working across teams, and wants to grow their project management skills inside a firm that is intentional about developing its people.

This is not a passive support role. You'll be working closely with project managers and department leaders, interfacing with clients, and contributing to the processes and habits that define how Pinnacle delivers. If you are organized, adaptable, a strong communicator, and genuinely curious about how operations and project work fit together — this is a place to build something.

What You'll Do

Project & Administrative Support Assist project managers with scheduling, tracking action items, maintaining project documentation, and keeping deliverables on schedule. Help ensure nothing falls through the cracks across active engagements.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, supporting communication, meeting preparation, and follow-through. Community engagement and client-facing experience will serve you well here.

Process & Documentation Help build and maintain the organizational systems, templates, and records that keep the PMO running efficiently. Contribute to process improvement efforts as the office continues to mature.

Reporting & Tracking Support the preparation of status reports, project summaries, and presentations. Keep project tracking tools current and flag issues before they become problems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration Work alongside teammates across departments, contributing to a collaborative culture where people support each other and share in the wins.
